Morressier
Discovery Hub
Morressier enables scientific organizations and researchers to discover, share, and advance new ideas with end-to-end workflows for transforming scholarly communications.
I was tasked with designing the whole home, search, and user profile functionalities and how users can be prompted to discover and search.
The goal: open the platform to the public to democratize access to scientific research and provide a seamless avenue for researchers to explore, contribute, and connect.
My role
I was responsible for creating the design vision for a new product area called Discovery, which involved designing essential functions like the home, search, log-in, and profile. I developed a long-term vision to guide our future goals while working within current possibilities and constraints to implement an initial version for launch and testing.
My work also included rethinking the navigation structure to account for dependencies with other product areas, implementing the new company brand, and redesigning how we display content such as events, papers, and calls for submissions.
Outcome
+50% of Profile completeness (first 6 months)
+20% of Verified Profiles
+45% of Search to click ratio
